Our Second Date...

As most of you know we are out in Atlanta and Jared is working for APX Alarm. He works six days a week, weekdays from noon to 11 at night and on Saturdays from 9am to 11pm. So yes he is gone all the time. On Wednesday morning me and Jared actually left the house and ran to the store to grab something. On our way home we stopped and got an ice cream cone.  It was just from McDonald's but it tasted delicious. We were enjoying our ice cream cones and Jared looked over at me and kept teasing me on how much he was enjoying our date and how lucky we were to go on our date. Then later that day when he was driving out to area I got a text from him....

So we went on our second date....

I got all dressed up, made dinner, and set the table. Everything was running smoothly until I was running a little late. I made Chicken Coconut Curry for the first time and went to cut an onion and missed the onion and cut my finger instead. I cut off some of the nail and skin. It was really bloody. Other than the miner cut the date was a success. The idea of our date was a little cheesy, but it was just nice to really have our attention completely on each other and not on other people or TV. We actually talked about 2nd dates from our pasts. If was pretty funny listening to the different stories. Jared also brought home IBC Rootbeer our favorite thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Petersen.

So basically I am sharing our cheesy date night with you because I just want everyone to know when Jared isn't teasing me he is the sweetest husband. Thanks for loving me and being romantic. I love you babe.
