Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville

Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. I have be admiring his house and wanted to go take a look. Jared told me on Tuesday night that I can choose whatever I want to do for Wednesday morning because they had a late start. Well needless to say I told him that I wanted to go see this Museum and he was a little disappointed and didn't really want to go. Well he felt bad for complaining and we went after all.
The reason the house museum is so important to find out it was the house of Sam P. Jones. For my fellow Christians he was a famous preacher who brought more people to Christianity in the 19th century than anyone else. This was neat to learn, but I was more interested in looking at all the items in the house. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside. So instead we took pictures of the outside of the Victorian Mansion. After our tour was over we went and got ice cream. Instead of Jared just enjoying his ice cream he kept commenting at the fast food joint on how overweight our country is. He was a little disgusted! Hopefully this means he wants to start eating healthy! Maybe he will even exercise one day....Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. Western Booth Museum, Cartersville

This was my most favorite part.  It was so fun to read about each of our nation's presidents.

Sherman's March to the Sea.  The Burning of Atlanta City
In Cartersville, The Western Booth Museum has free admission on the first Thursday of every month. So something to do and something free. I was sure to hit this one up. We walked around and looked at paintings, sculptures, and everything else for over 3 hours. It was really fun to learn different events about the civil war and our nations presidents.
