New Pups

Brock and Clayton got new French Bulldogs this week. Brock got the white one (still unamed at this point) and Clayton has the brindle black one named CJ (Clayton Jr.). Brock's puppy is bigger than CJ and plays really well with Chubs. Chubs is enjoying his new friends except when the two puppies get around each other and will only play with each other. They are just so cute. Note...Jared this does not mean I want a French Bulldog.

CJ chewing on Chub's bone.

Chubs shased CJ around so much that I was standing at the kitchen counter and he just came up and fell asleep on my foot. too cute
Chubs sleeping with Jared. He really has been such a good dog lately. Being around the puppies really remind how good of a dog Chubs is.

Jesse's Last Lunch

Jesse & Matt are headed home and some of us girls went out to lunch to a Mexican restaruant down the road from where we live. We have all been wanting to go try the food, but they close to early to go eat with our husbands. We are going to to miss Jesse, but we are really excited for her that she's going home.

Movie in the Park

On Thursdays, the Atlantic Station host movies in the park. We watched Singing in the Rain. It was nice to find something free to do in the city and not a tourist attraction. I think we are going to go tomorrow night to watch Dirty Dancing.
We went out to dinner at Stake & Shake with Jenny and Trevor. They have good hamburgers and shakes. For sure a great place to eat late at night!

Fourth of July

This year we were so lucky that Jared didn't have to work on the 4th, we were able to spend all day together. Me, Jared, Jesse, Matt, Jenny, & Trevor went to the Braves game. We were a little late to the game because we went to eat before the game at the Vortex (not a bar thats in Utah). The food was great, we had a variety of hamburgers and sandwiches. I had a BLT with egg. If you have not had a BLT like this you should try it! Sooooooo good! The game was lots of fun the Braves won the series. It was so hot it was officially HOTATLANTA. Jared and I were both wearing gray shorts at the game, lets just say not a good idea in the heat.
Matt & Jesse
I believe these two feed off each others style. They just keep getting the same clothes. Jared did have his shirt on first this time. Ha ha Jared and Trevor looked cuted together.
The fireworks were great! They were a little short, but they shot a couple fireworks that I have never seen before. They were amazing I loved them. I can't wait to see them. Hopefully they have these ones in Utah...

APX gives back...Community Services

APX asked me to find a location that our office could provide community service. I contacted the city of Cartersville and we helped painted a fence around the football field at Dellinger Park.  It was hot and the paint got everywhere. I really enjoyed the time we spent. Some of the other reps had some different opinions, but Im glad we had the opportunity to do it!

Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville

Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. I have be admiring his house and wanted to go take a look. Jared told me on Tuesday night that I can choose whatever I want to do for Wednesday morning because they had a late start. Well needless to say I told him that I wanted to go see this Museum and he was a little disappointed and didn't really want to go. Well he felt bad for complaining and we went after all.
The reason the house museum is so important to find out it was the house of Sam P. Jones. For my fellow Christians he was a famous preacher who brought more people to Christianity in the 19th century than anyone else. This was neat to learn, but I was more interested in looking at all the items in the house. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside. So instead we took pictures of the outside of the Victorian Mansion. After our tour was over we went and got ice cream. Instead of Jared just enjoying his ice cream he kept commenting at the fast food joint on how overweight our country is. He was a little disgusted! Hopefully this means he wants to start eating healthy! Maybe he will even exercise one day....Rose Lawn House Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. Western Booth Museum, Cartersville

This was my most favorite part.  It was so fun to read about each of our nation's presidents.

Sherman's March to the Sea.  The Burning of Atlanta City
In Cartersville, The Western Booth Museum has free admission on the first Thursday of every month. So something to do and something free. I was sure to hit this one up. We walked around and looked at paintings, sculptures, and everything else for over 3 hours. It was really fun to learn different events about the civil war and our nations presidents.

Sunday dinner at Sister Kelly's

This summer we have been so lucky to have such a great ward.  Everyone is so friendly and excited that we are there.  Last summer Cleveland was not to kind to us.  Sister Kelly invited all of us into her home for Sunday dinner.  She is from Tiawan and made delicious green thai curry.  It was amazing, but she was unable to give an exact recipe beside a little bit of this, little bit of that, and start small! Well hopefully I'll be able to make something like this then.

Allatoona Lake

This afternoon we walked around the beach at Allatoona lake.  Chubs loved being outside and eating all the different bugs.

Bowling Saturday Night

After the boys worked all day from 9am till 11pm we went out for the night and went bowling and to Shake and Steak. We played three games. At the start of the third game me and Jesse were too exhausted to go on. The boys played for us. I scored my highest of the night at 120. Usually I don't break 100. Shake and Steak was amazing. If you have the chance to go to one I highley reccommed it! So good

Cartersville, Georgia

So if you were wondering...this is where we live.  We spend a lot of time at the pool and at the tennis courts.

The Happest Place on Earth...the MALL

We went to the outlets in Calhoun first and went shopping.  My mom has taught me well, I found three shirts for 12 dollars and they are actually cute.  After the outlets we drove an hour to the Cumberland Mall.  Basically we live out in the boonies and if we want to go anywhere it tends to be about an hour drive.  The mall was amazing and so was chick-fil-la.  We all got ice cream cones afterwards.  The sales rep and tech wives all went shopping together.  It's so nice to have tons of wives to hang out with. It's so different from last year. Last year there was only three of us.  Everyone is so much fun and we all like to shop way too much.

Swimming!

The guys worked so hard on the previous Saturday that Brock their manager let them have a late start.  It was nice to spend a little bit more time with each other in the mornings.  Yes, if any of you where wondering Jared is the skinning one.  I promise I feed him but he just keeps getting smaller the longer we have been married.

Georgia Aquarium

I think Jared just looks so cute in this picture.
The WHALE SHARK
They say that the Georgia Aquarium is the only place that have whale sharks in captivity.  Who knows maybe they just claim this to jack up the prices! They have four great whale sharks.
This is the HUGE fish tank tunnel.  You are completely surrounded by fish and it's only about 5 inches of glass seperating you from them.  ps dont mind the double chins on us, the picture had to be taken
My friend...Jenny Cox
Jared & Trevor Cox touching something fishy.  Their tenticals will stick to you when you touch them.  It was pretty fun and a little scary to touch.
